IMPRESSIONIST LANDSCAPING was founded with the intention to create landscapes as works of art. To produce a landscape that is merely satisfactory is unacceptable.

I create inviting peaceful sanctuaries where one feels enriched and rejuvenated. These environs may consist of not only plantings, but of stone and water features, as well as other elements including wood, metal, or even fire. Each individual member of the landscape, whether it be a tree or a small river stone, has energy of its own aura that it casts upon the rest of the landscape. In proper arrangement, all the elements give and receive energy in a continuous flow, thus providing a harmonious environment conducive to healing, spiritual fulfillment, and attainment of a higher level of consciousness.

A garden is a place where one can relax and simply enjoy the surroundings. This is why I design each one to require as little maintenance as possible. I believe that trees and shrubs should flourish and flow in their natural state, not to be manipulated into rigid or square hedges. All elements of the landscape are placed with great consideration of how they interact with one another as a community.
